BAFANA BA TRIO NOMINATED FOR KORA AWARDS

The rising stars of the hip-hop and motswako, Bafana Ba Trio have kicked off 2024 with a bang by securing a nomination at the prestigiou­s KORA awards.

The trio, comprised of Onalenna Maswaneng, Nnete Garebaitse, and Mosa Tshekiso has earned recognitio­n for their unique approach to music and storytelli­ng.

The nomination at the KORA awards places Bafana Ba Trio in the esteemed category of Best Group-African Urban Music, alongside industry heavyweigh­ts such as P Square, Mafikizolo, and Mi Casa. This acknowledg­ement highlights the exceptiona­l talent and promise exhibited by the emerging group.

Our earlier hits were a stepping stone, and ‘Take 2’ represents a new chapter in our artistic journey,” Onalenna shared.
