Avani celebrates ladies

Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino is treating women throughout the woman’s month to a defined sip and chill ocassion dubbed ‘Avani Fridays’ until next week Friday, 29 March 2024.

This lovely ocassion started off as a women’s Day celebration as the hotel celebrated woman’s month with its team members. The ladies were treated to an amazing day filled with elegance, class and fun. They were made to feel special in every sense of the word, and reminded that they are very important within the community.

The Hotel has joined the Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana

(HATAB) in celebrating the women within the industry and also agreed that the theme for this year, ‘Inspire inclusion’ was relevant for their industry. HATAB highlighted that the theme emphasises the importance of inspiring women to be included, fostering a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

Public Relations and Marketing Executive at Avani Resort, Samantha Bogopa told Vibe that indeed the day was meant to celebrate the contribution and achievement of women in society, hence they had to extend their celebrations and continued the woman’s month with a woman month celebration at Moruleng

Bar, where ladies receives shots on arrival and discounts.

She explained that this is meant for the women to refresh and unwind at their hotel and the sessions are hosted by Host

Phly Honey. The ladies enjoy the fun time at the hands of selected Disc Jockeys; DJs; DJ Cedeea and DJ Bakito who always make sure that the beautiful ladies are entertained with the right music.*
