The conference would be led by an Annual General Meeting (AGM) set for April 25th at 08:00hrs at Maun Lodge.

HATAB exists to promote and encourage excellence in Hospitality and Tourism in Botswana, and this year’s conference official opening speaker is President

The event has been made possible by different stakeholders within the hospitality including; Wilderness Safaris, AbariCom, Botswana National Productivity Center (BNPC) and Great Plains Conversation among others.

Wilderness operates some of the finest camps and lodges across Africa, with a fulsome portfolio encompassing all of the country’s ecosystems. It is a HATAB member within the Camps and Lodges sector.

The company gives visitors in Botswana an opportunity to see the country at its best with their properties in the Kalahari, Linyanti and most importantly the Okavango Delta. They offer a full spectrum of safari experiences from mokoro excursions, game drives, motor boat trips, walking safaris and so much more.

With an emphasis on hospitality and professional high standards, Wilderness has a particular reputation for excellent guides with considerable investment in guide training throughout a guide’s career.

Great Plains Conservation, which is also a member of HATAB on the Camps and Lodges Sector, on the other hand provides the perfect setting for a personalised African safari adventure to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya and beyond. Their mission is to find the right formula of conservation, communities and commerce that would make a lasting, sustainable difference to the world’s iconic wildlife and wilderness.
