ST LOUIS LAGER KICKS OFF SUMMER FESTIVITIES WITH VIRTUAL CONCERT
GABORONE - St Louis Lager, a vibrant locally brewed beer, is hosting its first ever Virtual Concert. The inaugural concert will feature a stellar line-up of some of Botswana’s very best artists and DJs under the theme “Monate wa itirelwa”.
An initiative under the ongoing Mo Ke Botswana campaign, the virtual concert aims to shine the spotlight on arts and creativity especially music. Over the years St Louis Lager has positioned themselves as an ardent supporter of local artist and the entertainment scene.
St Louis Lager has transitioned from a beer brand to a leading custodian of the the arts, creativity and music. Further to that, we have found it imperative to forge sustainable collaborations with our local stars. Those efforts have culminated into the first ever Virtual Concert hosted by the brand” Said Brand Manager Bakwena Maphakwane.
This virtual concert will bring light to one of the brand pillars , “Our Music, Our Way”. The line -up is packed with the very best in local talent, featuring Khoisan, ATI, DJ Boogie Sid, Charma Gal, FME Djs, Ice Cold Mob, Thato Jessica, La Timmy and Ban-T to name a few.
“Due to the current uncertain times that have prevailed upon us, we deemed it fit to bring the Virtual Concert, to the phones and TV screens of Batswana. The colloquial coining of “Monate oa itirelwa” resonates more than ever during this Covid-19 pandemic. We have seen similar productions done by others and we found it fitting to use that as leverage to pioneer such initiatives in Botswana.” Concluded Maphakwane.
