Anumber of people thronged the first installation of Cross Countries beauty pageant where they witnessed breath taking talent and fashion.

Despite heavy Saturday, revellers did not let it ruin their plans. Although the event started late, revellers were patient enough to wait and stay until the end. Their decision turned out to be worth it. The contestants were divided into four categories.

Each participant in each category fought with all they had to grab the crown. Not only did the contestants show immense talent but aced each parade where they showcased different talents including traditional attire and talent show. The evening gowns were also breathtaking.

Contestants were dressed to kill in the talent show parade and many showcased what people of the cultures they represented did for a living as a part of their culture. Some showcased dance moves from different genres such as hip hop, Amapiano among others. There was also a Herero and traditional attire (matlalo and matlhoa while others opted for makgabe).

As for the dinner gowns, the dresses matched the international standards. For a new pageant, the women and girls wowed the audience with glamorous gowns. Each contestant’s dress was unique, designs collaborated their different personalities and the colours complemented the designs.
