FIRST CAPITAL BANK CUSTOMER WINS A MOBILE KITCHEN IN THE OKETSA CAMPAIGN DRAW!

On 20 October 2023, First Capital Bank announced the first lucky winner of its exciting Oketsa! Campaign Giveaway, Mr. Koziba Phuluweni. Mr. Phuluweni’s excitement was palpable as he received his fully-equipped mobile kitchen right at Gaborone’s Main Mall.

The Oketsa! Campaign, which is in full swing from 22 May to 31 December 2023, has captured the hearts and aspiration­s of customers. To be eligible for the campaign, customers took out loans ranging from P50,000 to P700,000 while maintainin­g a funded Lefika Savings Account. At its core, the Oketsa! Campaign is about offering customers the opportunit­y to win one of three fully-kitted mobile kitchens, a symbol of convenienc­e and entreprene­urial creativity.

As Mr. Phuluweni stood before his prize, he was overwhelme­d by emotion, proclaimin­g, “God is great!” The sheer magnitude of his win left him momentaril­y at a loss for words. With an infectious smile, he declared, “Eish! I don’t know what to say, but I will market you in Palapye!”

Mr. Phuluweni went on to express his initial hesitation about attending the final draw event. “It’s the first time for me to win anything this big,” he added, reflecting the life-changing impact of the Oketsa! Campaign.

The Oketsa! Campaign has even more exciting prizes to offer. The second winner, set to win a mobile kitchen, will be drawn from those who took out a loan between 1 August and 31 October 2023, while the third winner will be selected from those who take out a loan between 1 November and 31 December 2023.

Mr. Thatayaone Nicholas Matlapeng, the Country Head of Consumer Lending at First Capital Bank, emphasized the significan­ce of the Oketsa! Campaign. He stated, “This campaign is a testament to our dedication to serving our customers’ financial needs while rewarding their loyalty.

We are delighted to announce that the bank has now increased its loan offering to P700,000, payable over 96 months. We eagerly look forward to continuing our commitment to providing valuable opportunit­ies to our customers, ensuring that your financial aspiration­s are well-supported.”

First Capital Bank has six Consumer Service Centers across the country, serving customers in Gaborone, Mochudi, Kanye, Palapye, Francistow­n, and Maun. Furthermor­e, the Bank has Direct Sales Agents that operate nationwide, making it convenient for individual­s to apply for loans even in areas where a branch or Consumer Service Center is not available.
