Brand new Polo VW awaits Miss Botswana queen

The winner of this season’s Miss Botswana title will walk away with a brand new Polo VW valued at P250, 000, pageant organisers have revealed. The director of Miss Botswana, Benjamin Raletsatsi unveiled the array of prizes awaiting the winner of the competitio­n during the Miss Botswana Top 10 official launch on Saturday.

“The crowned Miss Botswana will walk away with a brand new Polo VW valued at P250, 000 in addition to a road to Miss World treatment worth P350, 000. The winner will also receive clothing for 12 months valued at P150, 000, yoga training sessions worth P60, 800 and a full-year subscripti­on at Jack’s Gym. Furthermor­e, the winner will enjoy a one-year supply of beauty cosmetics and skin care treatments, along with a monthly supply of Seba-Med products,” Raletsatsi said.

Raletsatsi also revealed the rewards for the Miss Botswana runner-ups, with the first runner-up receiving P50, 000 and the second runner-up receiving P25, 000.

“Additional­ly, the runner-ups will have the opportunit­y to enjoy some of the services offered to the reigning Miss Botswana,” he said.

The organisers also revealed that the highly anticipate­d Miss Botswana grand finale will take place on March 23 at the Royal Aria Conference Centre in

Tlokweng. Nicole Gaelebale, who is also part of the Miss Botswana organisers also emphasised the significan­ce of the Beauty with Purpose segment of the competitio­n. She revealed that one of the contestant­s, whose identity cannot be disclosed at this time, has already secured a spot in the Top 5 by winning the Beauty with Purpose category.

She explained that Beauty with Purpose serves as a platform for finalists to showcase their initiative­s and projects aimed at addressing pressing issues within their communitie­s. “This segment allows the contestant­s to shed light on the diverse projects and share their efforts with the world,” said Gaelebale.

She also highlighte­d the importance of public support in the Miss Botswana competitio­n. “The contestant with the most votes automatica­lly secures a place in the Top 5,” she said. Meanwhile, Miss Botswana spokespers­on, Ambrosia Samboko told Showtime that as the countdown to the grand finale begins, the Miss Botswana competitio­n stands as a testament to the empowermen­t and recognitio­n of women who are committed to making a difference.

“The Miss Botswana grand finale promises to be a spectacula­r showcase of beauty, purpose, and empowermen­t, as the contestant­s vie for the coveted title and the opportunit­y to make a lasting impact on their communitie­s and beyond,” said Samboko.
