ATTRACTING PRETTY GIRLS WITH GOOD MUSIC

- BY TSHEPO KEHIMILE

EXZOZO Entertainment Agency Director, Godwin Sebina, says his upcoming music festival dubbed, ‘Pretty Girls Love Good Music’ is meant to cater for revellers who love different genres of music.

In an interview with Voice Entertainment this week, Exzozo, as Sebina is popularly known, explained he felt compelled to revamp the show for last year’s opening edition, which was themed ‘Pretty Girls Love Amapiano’.

“The reason why I changed this concept to Pretty Girls Love Good Music’ is because I wanted to make it an annual event hence limiting it to one genre was not going to cut it. I had to be versatile and broaden the scope,” he said.

Set for this Sunday (27th November) at Royal Aria Stadium, the line-up includes high-profile international stars: K.O, Nasty C, Vocalistic and Amaroto. Local acts will also be well represented, with ATI, William Last and Baxon all scheduled to entertain revellers on the day.

Shedding light on why he opted for international artists that have not been booked

in the country of late and a high number of local artists, Exzoz explained, “A twist was needed because it has been the Amapiano genre in recent musical events thus forgetting other artists from different genres who have been making waves in the music industry.

“Moreover, for the locals, House Disc Jockeys have been getting a bit of recognition and therefore we wanted to offer something new.”

Quizzed about his latest deal with Trace Africa, he said, “I have been engaging since the start of the year and finally the deal materialised and it is P200,000 worth of Television (TV) adverts.”

Standard ticket is going for P300 while VIP is P1,500 and VVIP is P2,500 at Web tickets.
