Another new addition to Kota Kinabalu’s eclectic dining specialties, POUND Restaurant offers a modern casual all day dining experience, complete with a great selection of desserts.

Situated in the newly opened Jesselton Mall in the heart of KK City centre, POUND offers a mouthwatering breakfast menu that’s available from 10am to 3pm, as well as an a la carte menu that’s available from 3pm onwards. The breakfast menu carries a tantalising array of dishes, such as the Full Breakfast (which includes chicken meatloaf, beef bacon, tomato, baked beans, mushroom, egg selection, hash browns and brioche) and the Mexican Lamb Quesadillas that is hard to get anywhere else.

The a la carte menu offers a great selection of Western favourites, POUND’S signature being their sourdough-based pizza, which is the first of its kind to be available in Kota Kinabalu. All of POUND’S pizzas are made to order and served on their made-from-scratch, hand-tossed sourdough using imported Italian 00 flour. Crowd-pullers include the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza and the Truffle Mushroom Pizza for those looking for a vegetarian alternative. Other tried and true dishes are the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with a generous and crunchy serving of soft shell crab, the Black Angus Striploin and the Wagyu Tomahawk MB5.

POUND’S great ambiance makes it a great venue for gatherings, romantic dinners, as well as corporate lunches and dinners. Make your reservations early and ask specifically for a seat by the window, as you wouldn’t want to miss the glorious sunset view.
