Overview

The chief attraction of the former Kingdom of Lan Xang is the astounding, lost in time, World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, which has so far avoided becoming Laosneyland. It’s a perfectly preserved pocket rocket centred on a peninsula of temples, colonial teak houses, cobbled lanes and dawn processions, all easily covered by foot.
