Man plucks up, stabs friend over accusation

IT WAS a drinking buddy who ended up on the chopping block because of a stolen chicken on Wednesday in Kampong Speu’s Odong district. Police say two men were drinking together when the homeowner’s sister came and accused the guest of stealing their chicken to pay for the beverages. After a shouting match the man left and came back with a knife, attacking the brother before police arrived at the scene to catch him. The man with the clipped wing was sent to hospital and his shortfused friend was arrested and taken in.
