Mony Udom in move to Malaysia
POPULAR Cambodia international and Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng attacker Prak Mony Udom has completed a loan move to Negeri Sembilan of the Malaysia Super League.
Mony Udom told The Post yesterday: “I am very happy to have a chance to play in the top league of Malaysia because it is the first time that I will be playing professional football in foreign country.”
His home club Svay Rieng announced the deal on their Facebook page on Sunday, saying that the player had joined the newly promoted Malaysian top-flight side on a one-year loan contract and wishing him success for the coming season, which starts early this weekend.
Mony Udom is currently with his new club, and he said he is committed to proving himself in the Malaysia Premier League and taking his game to the next level ahead of his return to the Kingdom after completing his year stint in Malaysia.

The move makes Mony Udom the fourth Cambodian player to join the Malaysian Super League this year after Chan Vathanaka, who arrived after a spell in Japan, former Phnom Penh Crown forward Keo Sokpheng and Thierry Chantha Bin, who has played for Thai League 2 side Krabi.
Cambodia forward Vathanaka joined Pahang, while his national teammates Sokpheng moved to PKNP and midfielder Chantha Bin joined Terengganu.
