Ezecom, Minim poised to launch new Wifi service

EZECOM, the Kingdom’s leading Internet Service Provider, has joined hands with Minim Inc on a smart home system called EzeWiFi which can deliver high-performance WiFi and comes with a mobile app for parental controls, network security and added privacy.

Ezecom CEO Yuni LeeHeathcote said the partnership with Minim is another milestone in modernising technology and innovation that can be more personalised and secure for subscribers.

Minim CEO Gray Chynoweth said the Asia-Pacific is an emerging market that must be tapped.

Minim is an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven WiFi management and security platform for the smart home.

Minim’s automated network healing and usable applications have helped operators increase customer satisfaction and retention while reducing support calls and truck rolls by as much as 50 per cent.

Data from the Telecom Regulator of Cambodia says Cambodia had 18 internet service providers as of August.

Six were mobile internet and 12 fixed internet providers, with more than 16 million internet subscribers – up from 13.6 million users in 2018.
