Prince Real Estate delivers food to 804 families in Chamkarmon district hit by Covid

-

PRINCE Real Estate, a member of Prince Holding Group, on Thursday donated foodstuffs to 804 underprivileged families in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district affected by the February 20 Covid-19 outbreak.

The assistance came just days after Prince Group chairman Neak Oknha Chen Zhi announced a $3 million donation to support the Cambodian government in fighting the rising number of Covid-19 cases across the Kingdom.

The latest financial assistance came in addition to the $3 million donated by Chen last December to assist the government in purchasing Covid-19 vaccines for inoculating at least 80 per cent of the population, nearly 13 million people.

This further affirms the group’s commitment to carrying out social responsibility programmes in Cambodia.

On Thursday morning, Prince Real Estate delivered 16,080kg of rice, 804 boxes of noodles, 804 cartons of fish sauce and 804 cartons of soy sauce to the affected families.

In addition, 500 cartons of purified water and 200 cartons of soft drinks were given to 234 police officers who had been working developed on 843 hectares of reclaimed land near Sihanoukville International Airport.

While the Ream City project is set to transform the area, Prince Group remains mindful of the situation of local communities, organising regular consultations with local leaders to understand their needs.

Prince Group will continue to support Cambodians, delivering essential materials to people in need, carrying out key community-related initiatives and working with socially responsible partners across the Kingdom.
