At the same time, it targets the application of high and advanced technology in the fields of industry and energy.

The programme will also boost the production of high-tech products and the provision of high-tech services, aiming at increasing the export revenue in the processing and manufacturing industry.

To effectively implement these goals, Tran Viet Hoa, director of the ministry’s Science and Technology Department, said the ministry would organise activities to support economic groups, corporations and enterprises in key economic sectors to research, develop and master core and key technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.
