The three days conference held from December 2-4 at CamTech University and sponsored by The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) focused on digital transformations for a sustainable university as the main subject this year.

“The conference provides a unique opportunity for science and technology experts, researchers, management experts, knowledge engineers, software engineers and information systems managers to share ideas, experiences and

perspectives aimed at promoting practical solutions for development in response to sustainably development goals,” said Kieth Rethy.

This is the second time the international conference was held in Cambodia and the first time the event was hosted by CamTech University.

According to the press statement released by the conference, SKIMA has three broad objectives: To promote practical solutions for achieving the UN Sustainable Development

Goals; to bring together all manner of experts from across the tech sector to work towards achieving the SDGs and to provide a platform for the participants to share ideas, experiences and perspectives.

The first SKIMA conference held in Cambodia took place in 2018.
