Sathapana Bank brings CSR drive to Ratanakkiri indigenous community
SATHAPANA Bank brought its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to a Kreung indigenous community on November 26, with the Kingdom’s most trusted leading commercial bank donating a range of daily essentials.

O’Chum district, Sathapana Bank Chief Credit Officer Koy Chamroeunvichea, District Governor Kieng Tola, Village Chief Sapas Tal, Sathapana Bank staff and residents attended the handover ceremony for the donations.
Committed to giving back to communities across the Kingdom, Sathapana Bank donated daily necessities to 40 families – each receiving 50kg of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, canned fish, fermented beans, instant noodles and sugar.
O’Chum District Governor Tola expressed gratitude to Sathapana Bank for helping the vulnerable in his district, saying: “I would like to thank Sathapana
Bank for undertaking this social responsibility work and donating food to the people here.
“I hope Sathapana Bank continues such charitable activities in this and other villages in rural areas.”
And with its commitment to CSR efforts across the Kingdom, the bank has not only expanded its activities to Ratanakkiri, but also to other provinces.
“This year we have carried out CSR programmes not only in Ratanakkiri, but also in other provinces. In Banteay Meanchey, for example, we donated food items to 110 families impacted by floods
“We also partnered with the Association of Banks in Cambodia [ABC] and National Bank of Cambodia [NBC] in the Relief Package Distributions Programme, which reached more than 500 flood-affected households,” said Chamroeunvichea.
Sathapana’s efforts in making lives easier for Cambodian people also include a focus on financial inclusion.
