OCIC’s Diamond Bay Garden recognised regionally at 2023 Prope yGuru Asia Prope y Awards in Bangkok

-

OVERSEAS Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC), the Kingdom’s leading property and infrastructure conglomerate, was awarded “Best Waterfront Condo” for its latest mixedused residential development – Diamond Bay Garden – at this year’s PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

This marks only the second year that Cambodian developers have been honoured with awards at the prestigious PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit, which was held this year in the Thai capital Bangkok on December 7.

Three Cambodian property development projects received recognition this year, with Diamond Bay Garden, Mean Chey Avenue and Marum Estate from Singapore-based developer Sir Stamford Raffles all bagging awards.

And this underscores the Kingdom’s immense growth potential.

OCIC being one the first Cambodian-founded and Cambodian-owned real estate developer to be recognised on the international stage in such a way marks a tremendous milestone for Founder and Chairman Neak Okhna Dr Pung Kheav Se, who established the group 23 years ago.

Along with OCIC, Guoco Land Singapore, Keppel Land,

Shang Properties, Fraser Land, Robinson Land, Aboitiz Infra, Sinar Mas Land, Sime Darbi, Lan Kwai Fong Group, Shun Tak Holdings, Sino Land and UOL were among the other developers recognised in the region this year.

And OCIC was also finalist and runner-up in two other

categories – Best High-Rise Condo Development and Best Developer Asia.

Diamond Bay Garden in Phnom Penh’s Koh Pich district is a soon-to-be launched condominium complex comprising three towers, which – nestling at the confluence of Phnom Penh’s

three major rivers – will offer breathtaking views.

“The team at OCIC is extremely heartened to have received such an award and to be recognised regionally,” said OCIC Vice President Thierry Tea, who received the award on behalf of the group.

“Our investment in shaping

Diamond Bay Garden property is indicative of the ongoing development in Cambodia’s Koh Pich district – a 100ha central business district – which, with more than 15,000 residents, is now thriving as a hub for innovation, commerce and residential living.

“This reaffirms our dedication into developing Cambodia as a whole, and our dedication to making people happy whenever possible.”

The prestigious award for the OCIC group’s

30th residential property development, and its fifth high-rise condominium, is testament to the dedication of its 15,000 employees to the expansion, innovation and sustainable development that will contribute to Cambodia’s future growth.

And as the group continues to expand its portfolio and strengthen its presence, such regional recognition provides a wider platform for OCIC to grow in the Asia Pacific region.

Diamond Bay Garden – OCIC’s newest property development overlooking the Mekong, Tonle Sap and Tonle Bassac rivers – will officially launch in the first quarter of 2024.

Diamond Bay Garden, a mixed-use residential complex of three uniquely designed 40floor towers comprising 590 residential units, will boast a range of modern amenities including a swimming pool, business centre, playgrounds, coffee shops and laundry services.

Price ranges from less than $100,000 for entry level studio units, to more than $400,000 for larger and higher-floor units.
