Rugged Ridge Soft Shackles

4WDrive - - 4x4 Then And Now -

While I haven’t thrown out my locking D-ring yet, its days are numbered. The new Rugged Ridge soft shackles are light, strong, and faster to get on and off than the old D-ring (which now reminds me of a Sony Beta player – how old am I?) The Rugged Ridge soft shackles have a 7/16" diameter, a 30,000 lb breaking strength, and a 7,500 lb WLL (working load limit). They are light enough to float (think dropping during a water recovery), can be wrapped around anything if there are no tow hooks, don’t rust, and are stored easily (wrap them around your roll bar). Used them last weekend to get a tug out of the snow. MSRP $93.00 USD for a pair www.ruggedridge.com
