After a domestic dispute, a 48-year-old Kentville man was arrested on Highway 101 near Wolfville at 7:51 a.m. He had taken a vehicle without permission and was arrested for assault and assault causing bodily harm.

Someone damaged a railing on the front step of a Gaspereau Avenue home in Wolfville.

At 2:27 p.m., a 911 caller from a New Minas eatery reported a customer was choking. When police arrived, another customer had come to the aid of the indi- vidual in distress.

A man in his 20s was stopped from shopliftin­g in New Minas.

Some suspicious footprints reported from Coldbrook.

A parent called police for advice about a child’s possible drug use.

A woman reported her vehicle had been stolen from the Valley Regional Hospital parking lot, but the attending officer found it.

A suspicious older woman was knocking on doors in Wolfville and asking for money.

A driver was reported for behind the wheel in Greenwich.
