A Rebekah lodge group has plenty of good things to celebrate.

St. Eudorah Rebekah Lodge recently met with president Zillah Gaul opening the meeting. Upcoming plans include, on April 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., a tea in honour of the president of the Rebekah Assembly, Julia Cox. Cost is $7 with a cut-off date of April 12. Pre-register by calling Zillah at 902-825-3295.

The Rebekahs will be celebratin­g their 110th anniversar­y on May 3, starting at 1:30 p.m.

The Rags to Riches Rug Hooking group will attend the tea held at the lodge hall on May 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. The tea costs $5 per person and everyone is welcome.

A flea market with canteen takes place May 20. For tables, call Julie at 902538-7762; take note there are only a couple tables left.

A big thank you goes out to Kirk Mclellan for handling the big pots at the March 4 supper. The district deputy president of District #3, Frances Burns, made her final visit to the lodge on March 15. She gave a lovely talk and members thanked her for her dedication to the organizati­on.

It was also noted that card parties resume April 1 at 149 Cottage St. Also, Marjorie Saunders and Jeanette Crawford gave readings to close the meeting. The next meeting will be April 5.

Remember there is no luncheon at Christ Church in Berwick in April.
