The fourth Friday of each month the Berwick library holds a coffee and conversation time starting at 10 a.m. and wrapping up at about 11:30 a.m. On May 26 it will be “Outside the Box” with Sandra Hirtle as the guest speaker.

On May 31 at the library, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Book Club 150 features Christy Ann Conlin. Fairy cakes and haunted tea provided.

By the way, when your candidate for

the provincial election shows up, you may want to put in a plug for funding for the libraries. They do amazing work.
