A Blain Henshaw ‘Singalong Memories’ Concert - to be held in St. Luke’s Church, Annapolis Royal on Wednesday, July 26 at 7.30 p.m. Come and hear all the songs you know and love. Guests include Garth Proude and Georges Hebert from the Singalong Jubilee and special guests Jo-ann Newman and Floyd Spicer. Tickets are $20 in advance from Norma Grant 902-532-5247, and $25 at the door. Money raised will go towards the cost of repairing the steeple.

JULY 29

Port George Country Jamboree

- kicks off at 8 a.m. with 11 hours of live country music, a 200-table flea market, a breakfast, a supper, and food all day cooked onsite. Lots of activities for the kids. Onsite parking. Gates open at 7 a.m.

AUGUST 4

Best of Boxwood 2017: Musique Royale concert - featuring international folk musicians from Boxwood .Festival in Lunenburg, Dawn Oman

AUGUST 5

Heritage Days in Port Lorne starting at 10 a.m. with our local delicacy: fried bread. Other offerings include muffins, burgers and hotdogs. Antique car show and shine from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. Local authors will present their work and history of the area. The day wraps up with the cutting of our community cake around 3 p.m.

AUGUST 6

Blessing -- On Sunday, Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m. there is a Blessing of Fishing Fleet, the new community park and the community at an outdoor church service in Port Lorne’s Fundy View Park by the wharf. A potluck barbecue will follow.

AUGUST 12

Community Breakfast - from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Kingston Baptist Church, Main St, Kingston. For a free-will offering come and enjoy a delicious breakfast with traditional items as well as healthy choices such as yogurt, fruit, and homemade muffins. All are welcome!
