Aug. 2 the Hilties are playing from 7 to 8 pm. at Centennial Park. There are some benches available, but you may be more comfortabl­e if you bring a lawn chair.

The Christ Church luncheon takes place Aug. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with plenty delicious food. The cost is only $10. Hopefully there will be some people from the camp meeting.

At the Berwick Library, on Aug. 4, pop in for a light lunch and write a letter or postcard to family, friend or even the prime minister. The library provides the supplies and postage and will even mail it for you. What more could you ask for?

Meanwhile, Little Ray’s Reptiles Zoo is coming to the library on Aug. 5 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Space is limited and registrati­on is required. Call 902-5388060 to register.

It was to see the vehicles arriving at the Berwick United Church Camp Grounds starting on July 27. They were expected to be there for about 10 days enjoying the services and camaraderi­e. Welcome back!

Mike and Rhonda Norton, with their daughter Megan, from Mississaug­a, arrived July 15 to spend some time at their summer home in East Dalhousie. Rhonda’s aunt, Eileen Casey of Berwick, also visited and saw all the improvemen­ts they are making to their house. Rhonda has picked up Eileen several times as they go on outings. Mike and Megan were returning home after about a week, but Rhonda is staying for a bit.

Chris and Stacey Ray and their three children, Haley, Jordan and Bennet of Edmonton, Alta. spent a couple weeks in Nova Scotia. They spent time at his dad’s and visiting with Francis Ray and some at her mum’s, Pat Macdonald, of Kentville.

Francis Ray’s daughter Leslie and her husband Allen Desnoyers, with children Lytte and Ravel, are spending two weeks at his home and visiting. They also took a trip to Cape Breton.
