Upper Canard church hosts free Family Fun Festival
A relatively new community festival is certainly catching on in Upper Canard.
The First Cornwallis Baptist Church hosted its second annual free Family Fun Festival for the community Sept. 16.
The event featured a barbecue, 4-H petting zoo, crafts, bounce kingdom, games and more.
The church was founded in 1807. A series of events were held throughout the month of September to mark its 210th anniversary.
