‘Unsuspicious’ device found at Greenwood Mall

A bomb threat called in from Wal-mart at the Greenwood Mall has been deemed unsuspicious but is still under RCMP investigation.

RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Jennifer Clarke confirmed RCMP responded to the call Jan. 7.

“There was a device found, and our explosive disposal unit was called to the scene to assess it, and determined it was unsuspicious,” said Clarke.

The incident is still under investigation.
