Three minutes after Lawrie’s major, Acadia running back Dale Wright widened the lead by scoring his first of two majors, giving the Axemen a 17-0 first half advantage.

The Axemen gave up a safety early in the third quarter, giving the Huskies the only points to be scored against Acadia in the season-ending game.
