Reminder: our new digital home has launched

-

TO OUR VALUED READERS,

As a reminder, after many years of running multiple websites (HantsJournal.ca, AnnapolisCountySpectator.ca, NovaNewsNow.com and KingsCountyNews.ca), we moved to a single digital home for all Annapolis Valley content on Nov. 13.

All of our stories are now housed in the Annapolis Valley section of SaltWire.com.

This is great news for our Annapolis Valley team. As residents of Hants, Kings and Annapolis counties, we are proud of our work and the communities we call home. This move is important to us. Rather than spending our time updating four websites, we’ll be able to find and tell even more of the local stories that matter to our readers.

Not to worry, the associated print publications – Annapolis Valley Register and Valley Journal Advertiser – will remain unchanged. SaltWire.com is the single, streamlined digital counterpart for these local publications. We know the print publications and our readers have experienced a lot of change over the years, and we appreciate your patience as we work towards a sustainable model for local news.

We’re committed to making this change as easy for you as possible. The website URLs you are used to will now automatically redirect to the Annapolis Valley section of SaltWire.com, where you will find even more stories from this community. You can also go directly to SaltWire.com and choose “Annapolis Valley” from the top left-hand corner location-picker.

We're looking forward to having even more time to focus on what matters most: finding and telling the local stories that are important to our Valley community.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know - email hello@saltwire.com.

We can’t wait to see you at SaltWire.com.

Your Annapolis Valley newsroom team, Carole Morris-Underhill, Kirk Starratt, Ashley Thompson, Sam Macdonald and Larry Powell
