Known for her homes that reach outside the box, Vicky’s Homes are about creating sanctuaries of attentive detail and inventive design. Proud winner of four prestigious awards at the 2015 Awards of Excellence in Housing, including Small Volume Builder of the Year, her approach demonstrates a dedication to quality and service.
Vicky Kujundzic follows her passion that is a reflection of her dedication to modern, revolutionary design. “I consider home construction an art form,” says Vicky whose collaborative relationship with the client ensures a destination of daring design and personalized features.
It all began in 2000 when Vicky Kujundzic started with one then built two homes a year and it evolved into a career that fueled her passion. “Our focus is custom homes with an emphasis on functionality and wow factors. I like to be a trendsetter and this home reflects that,” admits Vicky. Winner of a national Best New Home Award in its size category, it also won for best interior decorating, which Vicky does herself.
The Vittorio is a two level home that captures 3,445 square feet and is currently a show home in Edmonton’s desirable Cameron Heights. A contemporary home
designed for family and those who love to entertain, it’s a delightful reminder of innovative style enhanced by a U-shaped island, recessed floor planters, square LED pot lights, and an ensuite with spa rock borders. Hosting tile throughout the main floor, it was chosen as a pet and child-friendly alternative, warmed by hydronic heat that extends to the basement and garage. With added sleek innovation, wall plugs are recessed into baseboards and pop out when in use.
“A lot of homes we build are quite creative and by doing new things we oftentimes have to figure out how to make something we envisioned come to life,” says Vicky. “Together we brainstorm ideas, and I count myself lucky to have a team that is so flexible in thinking outside the box.” Visitors are drawn to the home due to its fresh styling and features. “Many say that they have never seen anything like it, given a kitchen island that seats 15 and an ensuite that is truly exotic in its appeal.”
