Spec Hardware
Edmonton’s newest destination for specialty hardware, Spec Hardware runs the gamut from modern to rustic style options with every application in between. “We are a one-stop location for both the public and design professionals who are looking for the best selection to satisfy unique preferences and homes of distinction,” says owner, Raman Randhawa.
Their newly opened showroom located at 18819 – 111 Avenue in Edmonton was created with the design professional in mind, hosting space and meeting rooms to review material samples while enjoying a latte or espresso. Providing a broad selection of door and cabinet hardware, bath accessories, as well as mailboxes and house numbers, Spec Hardware continually offers new products and displays, partnering with new suppliers as needs and styles evolve.
“Clean finishes are popular today with gold and chrome on trend with gold making a huge come back,” shares Raman, adding that gold is appropriate for all styles, from modern to traditional, bringing sparkle and shine to decors.
Distributors of notable international brands, Spec Hardware’s inventory of desirable and original hardware satisfies our demand for what’s unique and different. Brands they carry include Armac Martin from England, offering high-end cabinet hardware, Karcher Design, a German manufacturer of well-built and reasonably priced door hardware, and Turn Style also from England. “All of their products are customized and include original items such as leather clad handles for one-of-akind definition,” cites Raman.
Committed to accommodate comprehensive themes in décor, Spec Hardware also offers a selection of plumbing fixtures. “Our location is staged much like a jewelry show room, as hardware is the jewelry of your home,” admits Raman. “We want to ensure that our clients are inspired by what we offer so that they can enhance their home to their specifically unique tastes. It’s largely about personality and we want to address that.”
