DOMESTIC CHANGE FEES FOR UNITED, US AIRWAYS JUMP

United and US Airways have increased change fees on domestic flights to $200, up $50 from the previous fee. The change fee for some United destinations in South America also increased from $250 to $300, while the fee for other international travel stays at $250.

The US Airways website also shows an increase to $300 on some international tickets. Of course, when passengers switch to more expensive flights, airlines will typically also charge the higher fares in addition to the change fees.
