Etihad Guest adds new Gold Elite bene ts

Etihad Airways has added new benefits to the Gold Elite tier of its Etihad Guest loyalty program. Top tier members now can receive 75 percent bonus miles (up from 50 percent), as well as access to the carrier’s Diamond first class check-in desks and lounges for themselves and a guest, regardless of the class of travel.

In addition Gold Elite cardholders can now nominate a friend or family member to receive a complimentary Etihad Guest Gold card. Members are also guaranteed the ability to purchase a Pearl business class seat when booking at least 48 hours before departure.

To attain Gold Elite status members are required to earn 125,000 tier miles or 60 tier segments within a 12-month period.
