Who is Jin Jiang?

Jin Jiang In­ter­na­tional Ho­tel Man­age­ment Com­pany Lim­ited, is the largest star rated ho­tel man­age­ment com­pany in China with a port­fo­lio of over 116 dis­tinc­tive star rated ho­tels and a room in­ven­tory of over 35, 000, spread across 74 cities in China.

The com­pany is man­aged by the Jin Jiang Group, China’s pre­mier hos­pi­tal­ity con­glom­er­ate. The group is a multi-brand com­pany which owns, op­er­ates and man­ages ho­tels, plus pro­vides cater­ing, food and bev­er­age ser­vices, and tourism and trans­port ser­vices. In ad­di­tion to Jin Jiang In­ter­na­tional Ho­tels, the group pri­vately owns and op­er­ates Jin Jiang Inns and has a 50-50 joint ven­ture with Thayer Group of In­ter­state Ho­tels and Re­sorts, the world’s largest third party in­de­pen­dent ho­tel man­age­ment group. Over­all, both in­side China and glob­ally, the group has a to­tal room in­ven­tory in ex­cess of 223,000 ho­tel rooms in over 1,460 ho­tels.

We are a lead­ing hos­pi­tal­ity brand in China and the largest in Asia, and the group is ranked ninth largest in the world, re­flect­ing what has been, and con­tin­ues to be, a re­mark­able growth story for the Group over the past few years.

How do you dif­fer­en­ti­ate your­self and what are your ho­tels like?

Our com­pet­i­tive ad­van­tage is our wide pres­ence and ex­ten­sive net­work in China, giv­ing trav­el­ers a re­li­able op­tion both within first tier cities around China and be­yond, to the lesser known sec­ond and third tiers.

Each Jin Jiang ho­tel is well at­tuned to the unique style and cul­ture of its lo­ca­tion, with room dé­cor that is in­di­vid­ual to each prop­erty lean­ing to­wards clas­si­cal lux­ury. Many of our ho­tels are large prop­er­ties with sev­eral hun­dred rooms and are lo­cated in land­mark build­ings both re­cently built and in more his­toric, her­itage build­ings.

Jin Jiang is a quin­tes­sen­tial Chi­nese brand which deep roots in the cul­ture. Its long his­tory goes back to its flag­ship prop­erty, the five star her­itage Jin Jiang Ho­tel in Shang­hai’s For­mer French Con­ces­sion. Opened in 1951 in the for­mer Cathay build­ing, it was the first state guest house af­ter the found­ing of new China.
