Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge De­buts at FRA

Air Canada has opened a new Maple Leaf Lounge at Frank­furt Air­port, its fourth lounge in the Euro­pean mar­ket. The new 2,382-square-foot fa­cil­ity is lo­cated within De­par­tures Area B at Ter­mi­nal 1 and fea­tures a quiet zone with six re­clin­ing pods equipped with per­sonal TV screens and a “spa-in­spired shower area” with rain shower heads, am­bi­ent mu­sic and Es­cents spa prod­ucts.

Other ameni­ties in­clude a busi­ness center, free WiFi through­out and a din­ing area with hot and cold food and com­pli­men­tary Ger­man and Cana­dian beer, wine and spir­its.

The main Canada Room show­cases Cana­dian art­work, and there is an art in­stal­la­tion Glass­works.

The lounge is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM for Air Canada Al­ti­tude Su­per Elite 100K, Elite 75K and Elite 50K mem­bers, Star Al­liance Gold mem­bers and cus­tomers trav­el­ling in Air Canada Ex­ec­u­tive First.

and from Cal­gary, Toronto, Mon­treal and Ottawa. The car­rier al­ready op­er­ates ar­rival and de­par­tures lounges at Heathrow air­port as well as a de­par­tures fa­cil­ity at Paris Charles de Gaulle.
