Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Debuts at FRA

Air Canada has opened a new Maple Leaf Lounge at Frankfurt Airport, its fourth lounge in the European market. The new 2,382-square-foot facility is located within Departures Area B at Terminal 1 and features a quiet zone with six reclining pods equipped with personal TV screens and a “spa-inspired shower area” with rain shower heads, ambient music and Escents spa products.

Other amenities include a business center, free WiFi throughout and a dining area with hot and cold food and compliment­ary German and Canadian beer, wine and spirits.

The main Canada Room showcases Canadian artwork, and there is an art installati­on Glassworks.

The lounge is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM for Air Canada Altitude Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K and Elite 50K members, Star Alliance Gold members and customers travelling in Air Canada Executive First.

and from Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. The carrier already operates arrival and departures lounges at Heathrow airport as well as a departures facility at Paris Charles de Gaulle.
