Meliá to Open ME Barcelona–Meliá Hotels International has unveiled plans to construct a new 173-room hotel in the city center, to be agged the ME Barcelona. The new 15-story property, going up on the site of the former Hotel Barcelona, includes retail and dining outlets and is slated to open in 2017.
