Aratkilo Area, Addis

This cathedral is the second most important place of worship in Ethiopia. Built by Emperor Melenik II in the 19th century, it was renovated in 1942. Emperor Haile Selassie, the Lion of Judah, is entombed alongside his wife the Empress Menen.
