Walking along Im Viadukt will lead you in the direction of Switzerland’s tallest building, the 413-foot Prime Tower (primetower.ch). Five minutes away from Josefswiese park, it stands next to Hardbrucke rail station and dwarfs everything else in the city.
Completed in December 2011, the Prime Tower has a mirrored glass exterior that subtly changes tint from green to dark blue, depending on the light. It contains offices, a conference center and the Clouds bar, restaurant and bistro on the 35th floor. From there see spectacular views of Zurich and nearby Uetliberg Mountain which towers over the city’s rooftops at 2,850 feet above sea level.
