Orlando, Vegas & The Windy City Top Meeting Destinations List

Orlando reclaimed the top spot on the annual list of the top 50 cities for meetings and events in the United States in 2015. Las Vegas climbed one spot on the ranking compared to last year, while Chicago, the number one pick last year, dropped two places to round out the top three.

The annual list of the most booked cities for meetings and events was announced by Cvent, the cloud-based enterprise event management platform. The rankings were based on meeting and event booking activity in more than 5,000 US cities. After Chicago, the rest of the Top 10 cities were, in order, San Diego, Atlanta, Washington, DC, NewYork, Dallas, Nashville and Phoenix.

One trend emerging this year was the number of smaller cities that have been actively pursuing meetings and events. Among the cities making the 2015 list were Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, FL, Tucson, AZ, and Charleston, SC, while cities including Austin, Charlotte and Tampa climbed to higher positions.
