PHL Cel­e­brates 75 Years – Philadelphia In­ter­na­tional Air­port cel­e­brates 75 years of ser­vice in 2015 with an ex­hibit on their history as well as art by lo­cal stu­dents. Pho­to­graphs trace the history of the air­port from its orig­i­nal four car­ri­ers in the 1940s to to­day’s op­er­a­tion. The ex­hibit can be found be­tween Ter­mi­nals C and D for tick­eted pas­sen­gers.

In Ter­mi­nal A’s East Bag­gage Claim, stu­dents from the lo­cal Tinicum School celebrate the 75-year history of the air­port with pho­to­graphs, col­lages and col­or­ful ter­mi­nals, road­ways and air­planes.

Trav­el­ers­Box Con­verts For­eign Change to Dig­i­tal Cur­rency – Trav­el­ers­Box, a so­lu­tion which lets trav­el­ers con­vert leftover for­eign change into us­able dig­i­tal cur­rency, is ex­pand­ing its ser­vice to Manila In­ter­na­tional Air­port in the Philip­pines.

Trav­el­ers can use Trav­el­ers­Box air­port kiosks to de­posit their leftover for­eign coins and bills di­rectly into online ac­counts in­clud­ing PayPal, gift cards (iTunes, Star­bucks, Skype, Gap, and more), or to make a char­i­ta­ble do­na­tion be­fore leav­ing a coun­try.

With the ad­di­tion of the Philip­pines, Trav­el­ers­Box cur­rently op­er­ates air­port kiosks in Italy, Tur­key and Ge­or­gia, and will soon launch in Brazil and In­dia. In each coun­try the ma­chines ac­cept the lo­cal cur­rency and other pop­u­lar cur­ren­cies in the area.
