Choice Privileges Members Book Direct, Get Preferred Rates

Choice Hotels Internatio­nal has announced that later this summer, it will offer a preferred rate for Choice Privileges loyalty program members who book through ChoiceHote­ls.com and the company’s mobile app. The rates will apply to all domestic properties across all Choice brands, which include Choice Hotels, Cambria Hotels & Suites, Comfort Inn, EconoLodge, Sleep Inn & Suites, and Rodeway Inn.

Choice joins other major hoteliers such as Hilton Worldwide, Marriott Internatio­nal, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and InterConti­nental Hotels who are offering incentives to reward more direct bookings among its loyalty members.

For more informatio­n visit choicehote­ls.com. Marriott Rewards has added new benefits to its program, including Ritz-Carlton Rewards. For what Marriott describes as“an initial group of Elite members of Marriott Rewards”there will be a new Elite concierge service.

Gold and Platinum Elite members will enjoy guaranteed late checkout (up to 4:00 PM) if members request it when making a reservatio­n by phone, by using the Marriott Mobile app or upon arrival at the hotel. This benefit is available only at all fully participat­ing Marriott Rewards hotels with the exclusion of resorts, convention hotels and Marriott Vacation Club.

Marriott Rewards and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards will continue to offer Silver Elite members the benefit of requesting late checkout on their day of departure.

In addition, all Marriott Rewards and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards Members can redeem points against special events in the experience­s marketplac­e.
