CELEBRITY CHEF Art Smith The debut of United’s upcoming internatio­nal business class experience, Polaris, will also see the Star Alliance member undergo a $100 million lounge transforma­tion program. The airline has Winfrey and owner of the Blue Door Kitchen restaurant in Chicago, as its culinary ambassador. Smith will contribute to the menu planning, design and food presentati­on offered at United Polaris and this will be followed by Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, New York/Newark, Washington Dulles, Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong and London Heathrow in 2017.

CHINA AIRLINES

CELEBRITY CHEF André Chiang several European destinatio­ns including Amsterdam, Rome and Vienna starting in December. To create the customized menus for the new service, the airline has brought onboard renowned chef France studying the art of cooking, rising to the post of head chef at the three Michelin star restaurant Le Jardin des Sens. Chiang is chef-owner of Restaurant André in Singapore and has recently eight elements he uses in his culinary creations.
