New Orleans Discovers Joie de Vivre

The Troubadour – the first property in the South for Joie de Vivre Hotels – has opened in the Crescent City’s Central Business District. The 184-room boutique hotel occupies a 17-story landmark building which was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The hotel’s two dining concepts are being helmed by Chef Phillip Lopez. The Petit Lion is the hotel’s 64-seat restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while The Monkey Board is the rooftop bar.
