Thierry Marx Premieres Paris-Gare du Nord Eatery

Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx has opened a new restaurant L’Etoile du Nord in at Paris-Gare du Nord railway station. Marx specialize­s in molecular gastronomy, and received two stars in the 2016 Michelin Guide for his restaurant Sur Mesure at the Mandarin Oriental Paris.

The restaurant is part of an initiative by the National Society of French Railways (SNCF) to improve dining options in France’s railway stations. Michelin-starred chef Eric Fréchon opened a restaurant in Paris-Saint Lazare in 2013 and other Michelin-starred chefs are set to open restaurant­s in Paris-Montparnas­se and Metz by 2018.
