Mele Mei Hawaii April 26 – June 16 This month-long festival of Hawaiian music, hula and culture is celebrating it’s eighth anniversary. The focus this year is on local musicians. The Na Hokuhanohano Awards, one of the Mele Mei highlights, is Hawaii’s version of the Grammys.

Fuji, Japan April 14 – May 27 Japan’s largest Shibazakura festival celebrates the coming of spring as approximately 800,000 known as “moss phlox” – bloom in the shadow of the majestic Mt. Fuji.
