Virgin Atlantic to Offer Three Economy Options

Starting this spring ,Virgin Atlantic is offering its customers a choice of three economy class options: Economy Delight, with 34-inch legroom, priority check-in and boarding, and an advance seat assignment; Economy Classic, with free seat assignment; and a new Economy Light ticket that guarantees the lowest fare available.

The last option will only allow for carry-on luggage, and no changes will be allowed to bookings. Craig Kreeger, Virgin Atlantic’s CEO, said this is the carrier’s biggest change to the economy cabin in over a decade and is part of a $420 million investment.
