IBEROSTAR

Spanish hotel chain Iberostar will open its first luxury property in Havana’s old town later this year. The 1911 building, originally opened as Hotel Biscuit, will be restored and enlarged to become the Iberostar Grand Packard offering a total of 321 rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, three bars and six restaurants.

ST. REGIS

St. Regis Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to open the St. Regis Melbourne in 2022. The property, located in the mixed-use Flinders Bank building on the 2nd to 11th floors, will host a specialty restaurant and the St. Regis Bar, as well as offering a 25-meter Indoor swimming pool and an Iridium Spa.

HYATT HOUSE

Hyatt has announced plans to open its second Hyatt House property in Frankfurt, the Hyatt House Frankfurt/City Goetheplatz, which is expected to open in 2023. The 180-room select service hotel in the mixed use Four Frankfurt development will join Hyatt House Frankfurt/ Eschborn, set to open in 2020.

CITIZEN M

Netherlands-based luxury hotel chain citizenM has announced plans to open a 348-key property in Miami Worldcenter, one of the largest private mixed-use developments underway in the US. The 12-story hotel will include a 10th floor swimming pool and rooftop bar, along with a fitness center and gym on the 11th floor.
