Park Hyatt Doha has opened in the city’s new commercial and residential downtown district, Msheireb. It is less than 10 miles from Hamada International Airport and close to a light rail stop. All 187 rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, rain showers and double vanity sinks. SOFITEL ISTANBUL

Sofitel Istanbul Taksim has opened, the first for the brand in Turkey. The 202-room property offers a Club Millésime with private check-in, personalized service, afternoon tea and more. HYATT REGENCY PORTLAND

Hyatt has announced the opening of the 600-room Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center. Amenities include a fitness center and a Regency Club Lounge. There are 39,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including 18 meeting rooms, as well as several ballrooms. There are also three restaurants. MOXY NASHVILLE

Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt at Hillsboro Village has opened with 130 rooms. It is the first hotel in the historic area of Hillsboro Village and is just a few blocks from Vanderbilt University and Music Row.
