Oneworld, the airline alliance, said in a statement that it is “delighted” with the announcement that Alaska Airlines intends to join the alliance by summer 2021. It also applauded Alaska Air’s plans to form a US West Coast international alliance with American Airlines, a founding member of oneworld.
