Age: 21 Height: Five-foot-11 Weight: 220 pounds High School: St. Francis College: University of Calgary. I majored in petroleum land management. I just picked up my degree. I was working at Encana right before I left for training camp. Favourite childhood toy: Oh my gosh, I don’t know. I think it was a football. Favourite movie: In English or French? My favourite English movie has to be The Godfather. It’s just awesome. It’s such a great movie. I can watch The Godfather 1, 2 or 3 — even though the first two are better — I can watch them over and over again. Oh yeah. I probably know all the lines from the best scenes. First job: My first job was working at Spolumbo’s in high school in Grade 11. I worked in the deli and made sandwiches. Were you a good sandwich maker? Uh, the business is still standing, so I’m assuming I was OK. Your favourite sandwich? I like the Spolumbo’s Special with all the Italian meats on it. First car: It was a 1998 Mazda MPV. It was gold, and the steering wheel had a leopard cover on it. It ran barely. Just enough for me to get from Point A to point B. Hobbies: Watching movies, hanging out with friends. And now I’m in Montreal, I just like hanging out in Montreal, walking around, checking things out. It’s awesome. There’s tons of stuff to do. Favourite CFL road city: Calgary. It’s home. There’s nothing better than home. You’re having friends over for dinner, what’s on the menu? I’m cooking Penne with tomato sauce and chicken breast and vegetables. That’s my specialty dish that I make all the time. Favourite vacation spot: Costa Rica. I’ve been there twice. It’s amazing. It’s beautiful. The scenery, the people are great. They’re so welcoming. The culture is awesome. There are so many things to do that are different.
