THE TOAST OF QUARRY PARK
Remington Development Corp.’s first residential project is down to its final stretch of sales. Noted for work in land and commercial segments, Remington has made its residential debut with an elegant five- building complex dubbed Champagne.
The project is located in amenity-rich Quarry Park, which is a southeast Calgary community master-planned by Remington. Champagne is now selling penthouses along with one and twobedroom condos in its final phase.
“Remington is really excited to embark on new projects and use Champagne as our staple project going forward,” says Julie Seidel, residential sales manager for the company. She says Champagne has set the tone for future residential builds by the company. Last year, Remington added to its roster in Quarry Park with a follow-up development called The Gates. Quarry Park’s other multi-family options include townhome projects by Birchwood Properties.
Current pricing at Champagne include one-bedroom units that start at $339,000, before tax and two-bedrooms from the $525,000s. Penthouses are fully customizable and range from the $700,000s to $1.4 million.
“What clients get to do is they work with a designer and they come up with their own colour scheme,” says Seidel of the penthouses. “So we provide them with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliance package. Beyond that, they work with our design team and come up with their inspiration as far as finishes are concerned, which is pretty great. There are not a lot of products in Calgary that offer custom multi-family with amazing views of the river and downtown and the mountains and all the rest of it — and I think be able to fully customize is really special.”
Penthouses at Champagne range in size from 1,400 to 2600 square feet. Two bedroom condos range from 1,325 to 1,680 square feet and start from the $525,000s. For onebedroom plans, the starting price is $339,000 and they measure between 790 and 1,010 square feet.
The fourth building in the development is slated for first possessions this June and its last building is expected to be ready by the end of the year, says Seidel.
A sales centre for Champagne is at 350 Quarry Park Blvd. It’s open noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends.
